About 75% of NZ molluscs are less than 10mm long when adult. Micromollusc hunting has become an obsession for many of our EMR team members and participants (you may see us crawling on our hands and knees along the shore). Micromolluscs are very elegantly shaped and can be found washed up on our sandy shores.
