Celebrate the Okura marine reserve with Experiencing Marine Reserves in partnership with the
Long Bay Okura Great Parks Society. With funding from the Hibiscus and Bays Local Board and The Bobby Stafford-Bush Foundation we are running our second Kaitiaki Day out of Deborah Reserve, Okura. Join us for a day of
guided kayaking with Canoe and Kayak,
stand up paddleboarding with Mission Bay Watersports, freshwater workshops by
Whitebait Connection and information stalls about the Long Bay - Okura Marine Reserve. Fun for the whole whanau. Koha - donations appreciated to participate.
Registrations are essential for the kayaking and the paddleboarding. Minimum age for the on-water activities is 10. No minimum age for the land based activities. Please note that the kayaking and paddleboarding activities do not depart together - they are separate activities.

Slot 1: 8:00am-9:30am
Slot 2: 9:30am-11:00am
Slot 3: 11:00am-12:30pm
Please arrive 20mins prior to your start time.
Where: Deborah Reserve - Okura, North Shore - Please do not go to Long Bay Regional Park.
If you are no longer able to make the event you need to give at least 48 hours notice - otherwise an invoice of $25pp may be issued.
