It's Seaweek! Come on down to Whitireia Park for a free community snorkel day with the Greater Wellington and Mountains to Sea Wellington – the second of two snorkels at this site. Prepare to be wowed by the diversity and vibrancy of underwater life in this protected marine area.
This year it's all about seaweed! Find out about the numerous benefits and uses of seaweed and how healthy carbon-sequestering marine flora could potentially save the world.
Our snorkel guides and marine experts will be on hand to help you every step of the way and make this a day to remember.
No bookings required, just be sure to click ‘interested’ or ‘going’ on this Facebook event so you receive important information in the lead-up. If the weather turns we’ll have to tweak our plans..
