After a break in 2020 we are back in 2021!
A conservation-themed family friendly day that offers a wide range of activities and info stall at Promenade Point, Lake Taharoa, Kai Iwi Lakes. Come along for the day or stay at the campground and make a weekend of it.

Practise your paddling skills with the Waka Ama from Te Hikuwai O Waka Ama Club!
Or come and visit one of the stalls and displays on land and take part in some activities and games.
Thanks to Kaipara District Council, Foundation North, Water Safety NZ and the support of many other organisations, the Open Day also gives you an insight into the rare biodiversity found in dune lakes!
