Come and explore the Whangarei Harbour Marine Reserve aboard a kayak. Learn first hand about the marine life that lives there and get kayaking tuition from the professionals. See cormorants, yellow-eyed mullet leaping out of the water or the royal spoonbill hiding in the mangroves if you're really lucky! Fun for the whole whanau – recommended for children over 8. To protect our community this event will be run under the COVID-19 Protection Framework. Please bring your My Vaccine Pass and photo ID to be verified at the event. Participants under 12 years of age will need to be accompanied by a fully vaccinated parent or guardian. Koha/donations welcome.
