With funding from the Hibiscus and Bays Local Board, Tū Manawa Active Aotearoa and The Bobby Stafford-Bush Foundation we are excited to run our annual Okura Paddle Day. Join us for a guided stand up paddleboard with Mission Bay Watersports, freshwater workshop with Whitebait Connection and raranga (weaving workshop) with Para Kore Ki Tāmaki. Fun for the whole whānau. Koha - donations appreciated. Registrations are essential.
This event provides a taster into stand up paddleboarding, freshwater monitoring and raranga (weaving) through a 3hr time slot. Expect to spend ~50mins on the water. Please only register if you can commit to the full 3hr timeslot.
Minimum age for the activity is 12.

Group A: 12:15pm-3:15pm
Group B: 12:15pm-3:15pm
Group C: 1:45pm-4:45pm
Please arrive at least 20mins before your start time.

Cancellation policy: If you give less than 24hrs notice when cancelling your registration or you no show without a valid excuse (i.e COVID, or other illness) then you will be sent an invoice of $20 per person.

Te Kura Moana - Experiencing Marine Reserves runs a series of free and subsidised events over the summer months - we rely on your support to make them happen. We appreciate donations, either cash/eftpos on the day, online or by giving a koha of your time volunteering at a future event. Some people donate $5-10pp.
