Explore the waters of Maitai Bay. Learn about marine life and the Rāhui that Te Whānau Moana Me Te Rorohuri have put in place, and what positive changes it has made to the bay. You may spot many different reef fish, triplefins and even a sighting of the rare red lined bubble snail (this year's mascot)! Fun for the whole whānau. Bring your own gear or get free hire of our mask, snorkel, fins and wetsuits. All children under 15 years must be accompanied by an adult beach observer. Experienced guides and advanced safety procedures will be in place on the day. Koha/donations welcome.
