FAQs
- How long should my video be? At least 1min and a maximum of 5mins
- Can I work on this project with a buddy? As only 1 student can attend for each of the two prizes, group work can make it really hard to be able to pick one person to attend. So it's best if they are done individually.
- Can I do a video about a terrestrial issue? This project is designed to showcase environmental actions in your marine environment. So a focus on estuaries or oceans is appreciated.
- I haven't completed an action that reaches the wider community yet, can I still submit a video? Yes! Make sure your planned action is outlined in your video.
- I'm not a confident swimmer, can I still enter the competition? Yes, no prior swimming or snorkelling ability is needed. The water is much warmer in Northland too!
- How do I submit the video? The best way is to upload a high resolution .mp4 or .mov file to Google Drive/ Dropbox etc and share to
